How many times have you been out and thought to yourself, 'I wish there were puppies here'? Be honest now. Yup-a lot. That's why we're pretty darn excited to let you know that we would like to open a "puppy bar", we propose beer, tap takeovers, and, most importantly, will be onsite with a pop-up adoption.

At the Dog Bar, food is our specialty. We will also feature Cold Brew Coffee (non-alcoholic) on tap, soda and juice. We may offer occasional food options for events, or snacks at the bar.

We offer live music on our patio several times throughout the week. In addition, we have a private space available to rent for Dog Birthday parties, or for other events. We are huge advocates of dog rescue and will have many of dog rescue fundraising and adoption events supporting local rescue groups.

Dog Bar Ghent is the first bar in Gent that allows guests to eat indoors with their puppy. You can come indoors with your puppy, and extend your social experience with your dog to a year-round activity. As part of the Dog bar Gent experience, we have a 700 m2 patio area that accommodates guests with their dogs. In the summer, existing trees and a large shade sail help keep our patio comfortable. As a bonus, Bar Dog provides a 1,000 m2 fully fenced off leash area were your dog can safely socialize with other dogs while you enjoy a bite to eat and an ice cold local craft beer.

The Dog Bar in Ghent, Belgium is being touted as the first of its kind. Adorable and interactive, it isn't just a space for pet owners to bring their furry friends when out and about. It is meant to introduce people to friendly shelter dogs that are up for adoption. Our Bar is a great bridge for those interested in adopting.
